1. Sheet Pan Sweet & Sour Pork

A simple chop, toss, and bake dinner that gives you takeout flavor without the price tag.

How to Make It:
Cut 1 pork tenderloin (about 1–1½ lbs./540–680 g), 2 bell peppers (any color), and 1 small red onion into bite-size pieces. Toss everything with 1 tbsp (15 mL) each of oil and and your favorite seasoning mix. Spread it on a sheet pan and bake at 450°F (230°C) for 20 minutes.

Whisk together roughly equal parts ketchup, sugar, and soy sauce (about ¼ cup/60 mL each), plus a splash of white vinegar. Drizzle over the pork, bake for 10 more minutes, and you’re done.

Make It Yours:
Swap the pork for chicken or tofu, or trade the peppers for broccoli or snap peas—whatever your crew will actually eat.
